GP Studio Support & Knowledgebase

Paid Support

The GP Studio software is available for download and use at no cost, with paid support available.  Please direct all support questions to: "gpstudiosupport (at) bridgertech *dot* com".  You know what to do to make the correct email address, but the spam bots have yet to figure it out.

The following are the paid support options:

bulletPer Incident:  If you have a question about designing an experiment, which parameters to use, etc. I am available at the base rate of $25 per incident, thinking that it might take me 15 to 30 minutes to think through your question and prepare a response.
bulletPer Issue:  If you have a use question that is more complex than a standard sort of email response, I can charge on a per issue basis.  The idea is that this might involve you sending me some data or a database, I review the data, make suggestions and etc.  This is charged at the rate of $75/hr.  The maximum charge on a per-issue basis is 5 hours, or $375.
bulletConsulting: Any support beyond 5 hours of time is considered consulting.  The charge for my time after 5 hours is at the rate of $110/hr.  For additional details on the full range of consulting services provided, please review the consulting, overview and sample work sections of the web site.
bulletBugs & Features:  If you believe you've discovered a bug in the software, please contact me and I'll work to fix the bug; bug fixes are free of charge.  If you desire to see a new feature added, please make the request.  If the feature is critical to you, I will guarantee it is added to the software if paid on a consulting basis, otherwise, I will consider adding it as I find time and consider its priority versus other features that are being considered.

Before answering, I will email to confirm paid support is requested.

Payments are accepted through PayPal (which allows me to accept visa, etc), check or (for consulting services) check paid from an invoice.  I'm an optimist, until someone breaks my trust, payment will be accepted following my work.

Known Issues

bulletZone Alarm : Zone Alarm may bring up a warning that GP Studio and/or GPServer is attempting to communicate over the Internet.  Allow this to take place, even if only using the software on a single computer.  Regardless of whether using a single computer or multiple computers for distributed computing, the software utilizes Internet (TCP/IP) communication protocols between the components.  The warning presented by Zone Alarm is in response to it detecting this network activity taking place.

If you have any problems running the GP Studio software please contact me at "gpstudiosupport (at) bridgertech *dot* com".
